The service department further investigated into an ongoing electrical issue which I am having with my 2022 Colorado. Both the Service Manager and the Mechanic did everything they could to get me in immediately and diagnose the still elusive issue. The Service Manager took my issue very seriously and treated me will all respect. The Mechanic communicated his results very professionally (and, that is so important). I know I am welcome to return for further service and investigation into this issue when the issue propagates itself a bit more. Until then, the Service Manager did an excellent job assuring me that General Motors has me covered.

The dealership was good, especially my service advisor, Jessica Whitney who was excellent. One of the problems with my truck is that I only have a little over 3000 miles on it, and it’s been 3 times for service already. This time I have had issues with the truck slamming on the brakes by itself when there wasn’t anyone or anything in front of it. I had to shut the front collision control off, and at this time there isn’t a fix to prevent it. I’m disappointed with the truck, but am still happy with Jessica who gave me a vehicle to use, and promised to call me when they can repair the truck.

My 2020 AWD Trax developed a leak in the rear differential as identified by Goodyear during a new tire purchase and free inspection. Took it to Mauer Main Chev in Anoka by appointment. they contacted me 6 hours later with "Great news, your leak is only a seap and does not require repairs at this time". My reaction was "Wait what? You want me to wait until my drivetrain warranty is expired and then come back to pay out of pocket for more expensive repairs? There's a puddle forming on my garage floor". They just said sorry, we don't qualify it as a leak at this time. Took it to Merit Chev in Maplewood next and they fixed the issues less any questioning and also helped me find the best discounts/cost savings. Merit restored my faith in GM and why I purchased my vehicle brand new from them in the first place.

Stopped in at Merit Chev on 2-23-24 for an oil change on my ‘22 Silverado w/ 15091 miles. I had no appointment. They got me in right away. They recommended a tire rotation which I agreed to. I pointed out that I was hearing two noises when I start up cold. One, a serpentine belt noise/click. The other, a vibration noise which sounded like a loose exhaust heat shield. Oil change & tire rotation were done quickly but unfortunately, were not able to locate the two noises.

Chad is a car buff with a good business head fully capable of explaining any automotive or business concern. His P.R. skills are exceptional allowing him to reach out to the customer making them feel comfortable throughout the entire buying process. The sales consultant Jason Wortman was very knowledgable with extremely good customer relation skills making for a very pleasant buying experience.
